Vartan Mamikonian

Growing up as a kid, going through Armenian history in school we all have our heroes. Vartan Mamikonian, the Battle of Avarayr in 451AD and the events that followed in the 5th century, was my favorite topic to learn about. Fast forward 25 or 30 years and I have the great privilege of recreating some of our historical characters in 3D; sculpting and modeling to resurrect these heroes. I wont ramble on too much but I hope you enjoy this, I do this in hopes of getting the younger generation to want to know more about our rich history and the history of that part of the world which dates back to the dawn of civilization.
